Botín Restaurant. Having opened its doors in 1725, Botín is the world's oldest restaurant according to the Guinness Book of Records. It is located in Calle Cuchilleros very close to the Plaza Mayor and it was a favorite of American writer and journalist Ernest Hemingway.
